The New Age of Ageing

This professional development opportunity brings together aged care and health professionals for an informative sector development event. Hear the latest aged care sector updates, gain insights into consumer and carer perspectives, increase your knowledge of best practice and network.

The theme for this full day event recognises the accumulation of the aged care reforms and the resilience of the aged care sector to respond to these changes to build a new age of ageing.

The program has been designed to support ongoing sector developments and focuses on:
• ageism and ageist stereotypes that can affect the opportunities that older people have to experience healthy ageing
• consumer experience
• reablement in aged care services
• the Aged Care Royal Commission
• the new aged care standards
• integrating health and aged care
• community connections.
